If have also tried the vnetlib64.exe, but no luck. I know that vnetlib is working because I have already successfully reinstalled the vmx86 service with vnetlib - install. I have also tried "vnetlib - export path_to_file", but that doesn't help either. The command should be "start /wait vnetlib.exe - export path_to_file" (I am running this command from within the Workstation installation directory, of course). However if I try to run the command as described in the link, no file gets created on my machine. the vnetlib command should support an "- export" statement which creates a text file containing the necessary information. Source: Re: VMware WS configuration backup But those keys are at least partly unique on each host machine so it would be a real pain to look up the keys on every host machine individually. on a Windows host, all the settings could be saved by exporting certain keys from the registry. However I am not able to find the corresponding file in Windows. on a Linux host, the settings are stored in /etc/vmware/networking. After googling for the problem I have found the following: I am using Workstation 10.0.3 on Windows 7 64Bit and have multiple networks configured on various host machines. The changes you make affect all virtual machines that use bridged networking on the host system.I am looking for an easy way to save and restore my Virtual Network Editor settings. You can use the virtual network editor to change VMnet0 to bridge to one specific host network adapter, or restrict the host network adapters that VMnet0 auto-bridges to.
